Answers:
Is your Bells bilateral or unilateral? Anyway, Bells palsy is often impossible to nail down a direct cause, as appears to be true in your case. When you don't know the cause any therapies are just like throwing darts at a wall with your eyes closed, but I know that at this point you'll try anything. I've heard that vitamin B12 shots have helped some people and even hyperbaric oxygen. In all likelihood your symptoms are being caused by a problem in the higher brain centers which is unfortunately the final frontier for modern medicine, we really don't understand very well the intricacies of the brain. So at this point your main hope is in the power of the placebo effect, which actually works about 30% of the time (and keeps the alternative medicine companies in business).

you yourself can read about bells palsy on www.mayoclinic.com . click on the window for patients that will explain you in simple terms about your problem.
i had it when i was a child. i think i was the youngest person the doctors ever seen with this problem. best i can remember is that my mom did a lot of praying which is what i think helped the most. i also remember some sort of therapy with some sort of neon lights or something like that at a beauty salon my aunt manage for a while. not real sure what the lights were as i was a small child, 7 years old or younger. think they had something to do with getting the nerves to respond. i mostly just remember having one side of my face paralyzed and drooling a lot
