Anyone have surgery for Spinal Stenosis in the Thoracic?

I have disc herniations C-5& C-6, Stenosis with disc bulge through thoracic and disc herniations in L-1& L-2, L-4& L-5. I have met with the neurosurgeon, he hasn't told me yet what to expect. I see him again on Thursday. Just would like a heads up!
Most nights I sleep about two hours then have to get up because of back pain from laying down, can't sit for more than 30 mins. at a time. I can stand in one spot for about 5-6mins. until pain hits.
Anyone ever go though is I would love some feedback. Please only serious answers!

I can not answer your question, but I can empathize since I am about to fix a left carotid artery before I have my c4 c5 c6 fused and hollowed out to fix a pinched nerve.
If you are like me and get 2nd opinions, please realize that most doctors do not read the MRI. It is read by a radiologist who writes a report and then all the doctors say the same thing. I found a second radiologist and got a different report.
