I have the same in the lower back following a car accident last year. Found great relief with my Physical Therapist at northstarpilates.com. Maybe there is a similar option near you? I highly recommend it. The exercises are easy and research backs it up, it works! Only a few short months ago, I thought I would be crippled for life. Now, I can hike, garden, most everything as before with minimal pain.
I did find that yoga aggravated the problem.

I have had the same problems. Went to many doctors and tried everything. A friend introduced me to Tahitian Noni Juice. It was a miracle for me!! You should research it and see what you think.
Be careful and do not take the advice of mophine, believe me it will kill you..especially if you have any heart problems what so ever, please do not take it. Morphine took our sons life in 2003. He was taking bi-polar medicine and trying to get off of it and had taken steriods earlier in life, which the steriods had caused the bi=polar, un beknown to us he was getting morphine from someone illegally in town and took just a hair too much and when we got the autopsy back the steriods had also caused a blockage in what they call the life and deaf artery the main artery of the heart and when he took a hair bit too much morphine it shut his heart down and he never woke up from a nap. Our dr stated if you have the least thing wrong with your heart and you take morphine it will shut it down! Do NOt Please...
I fell at work and ruptured a disc in my back. That was the worse pain I have ever had. I had epidurals too but it took a long time to heal. I was off work almost 2 months. Good Luck To You!
