Spinal meningitis?
My son 17yrs. had spinal meningitis 4 yrs. ago, now he's had an headache for 3days already. Is it possible for him to get spinal meningitis again.

It's always possible to get meningitis, although with a four year difference, it's probably not related. You should consider the type of meningitis he had before. Was it viral? Viruses can lie dormant for years and recur. Was it bacterial? Bacterial meningitises tend to clear when then infection is over. Was it related to a drug? Some perscription drugs (like certain antibiotics) can cause meningitis. Was the cause ever found?
If you think your son does have meningitis, you should take him to see a doctor. Does he have any neck stiffness? Light sensitivity? High fever? Nausea or vomiting? Confusion? If he has any of these, you should take him to a doctor right away.
I would get him checked out by the doctor, because if it's not meningitis (which they have vaccines for now) it could be something nasty like Lyme Disease. Good luck and I hope he feesl better quickly.
Yes, It is possible and the disease might be effecting his brain membrane (the thin coating over the brain) or it might be a bacterial infection and you should take him to the doctor ASAP!!
It can cause death, paralysis and coma!
