I was told that I have 2 lesions on my spinal cord - never any back probs before What can cause this?

Answers:
Multiple Sclerosis can cause lesions on the spinal cord, but there are other causes as well. If your physician did not explain the cause, you may want to consider finding another physician. In my experience, any doctor who tells you that you have a certain condition, but doesn't explain it's causes and/or treatments is just not a very good doctor. You shouldn't have to ask those questions, he/she should just put that information in the initial explanation. My suggestion is for you to do some research and find a doctor with experience treating spinal lesions. Call hospitals in your area, as well as friends and family, and see what you come up with. When you visit this physician, bring the records from the previous physician, and explain that you weren't told what caused the lesions. He/she will look at your medical records, and probably ask some supplementary questions. An explanation of the cause, and the treatment will follow. Good luck!
