Herniated Disc between T7T8..3mm , MRI shows only against the spinal column but periodic body weakness?
tarted March 15, 2005 and has continually increased in intensity..lots of sleeping, periodic suffering of weaknes in legs and body...Drs say the 3mm is only just against the spinal cord but the symptoms of more pressure are prevalent periodically..the evening is the best time for good feelings.some nausea which usually passes with no vomit
Mine was T 10-11 . Took over two years to heal.
Get to a CHIROPRACTOR for an adjustment. The T7 effects the stomach. It sounds like you have pinched nerves . If the T7 is out of alignment it can cause stomach aches and vomiting. Been there done that.
Please if you want to get better immediately go ASAP.
I do not believe any body weakness relates to this disc.
Herniated disc suck. I had surgery on my neck where they cut bone from my hip and put in place of my disc in my neck. My arm went completely numb for 3 months. Be careful cause you could make it worse to where your nerve or nerves get severed and cause you to be paralyzed.
usually discs improve with time - signs of spinal cord compression would be both legs going numb, loss of bowel/bladder function - diffuse body weakness could be from not moving for a prolonged period- sitting and bending over usually hurts the worst - use a lumbar cushion for your low back to sit straight
Follow your doctors advice, to the letter. Without a doubt, more than likely your spine will not get better, even with time. You may try, with physical therapy but I doubt it. Discs do not heal in the sense that there going to be O.K. down the line, again.
If it's pressing against the spinal cord it could cause an infection, maybe this is why your getting ill.
Have you seen an surgeon (bone)? if you haven't got a orthopedic surgeon your doctor can and will refer you to one. This is where your going to end up I'm afraid. Don't go crazy with physical excesses, you'll aggravate the spine, making it worse.
My MRI stated that I have mild disc degeneration at l4-5 without focal disc or spinal stenosis.?
What are spinal taps for?
Spinal back problems, anyone know how i feel?
Anyone know anything about spinal taps?
Spinal meningitus?
What is the tail bone or coccyx (on spinal cord) for? Will I know how to run to concerts and mosh or crowd surf after I get hold of a spinal fusion?
What is spinal stenosis and how can it be treated?
SPINAL fusion?
