Answers:
You may be suffering withdrawal symptoms from the xanax. 1 mg of xanax is equivalent to 1 mg of klonopin. See this link http://www.bcnc.org.uk/equivalence.html...
You should check if you are taking the same mg dose of klonopin as you were taking of xanax. I really do not think you are dying.
When you had the spinal tap done they remove fluid from a very sensitive are. That was a cause of the headache in my experience, but the dizziness could be caused to the medication change and a side effect of the tap as well. If you're really scared my advice is to try to get into a walk-in clinic if possible and talk to the doc there. This is the best advice I can suggest from my health care background.
The headache is normal for a day or two. However, if your head still hurts you should talk to your doctor as soon as possible.
A lumbar puncture is generally a safe procedure. Occasionally, a leak of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) may develop after a lumbar puncture. Symptoms of this problem may include a persistent headache that does not go away after 1 to 2 days. A CSF leak can be treated with a blood “patch,” in which the person's own blood is injected into the area where the leak is occurring in order to seal the leak.
Also, take your temperature. Anything over 101 degrees should be addressed immediately. Even though your appointment isn't until Monday, it would probably be okay to call your doctor now. Most offices have an answering service and the doctors in the office share "Call." You could speak to your doctor about your fears and if she thinks you need to go the the ER now, she will tell you so.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success proves it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy & YOG, but how can you manage pl see. I feel that a glass of cocoanut water at early morning can solve your problem if you have no cough or common cold. A glass of milk with dates/jaggery or sugar will do good before going to bed will also do good.
Avoid spicy, sour, stale and bakery foods, alcohole and late sleeping if possible.
Acupressure for acute H/A works nicely. Search a painful point behind your thumb nail(any) three to 10 mm away. Press that point couragiously or ask others to do it; it will pain for a moment but H/A WILL DISAPPEAR WITHIN A FEW SECONDS!
You try one herbal remedy IF H/A IS CHRONIC - two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
