Does anyone know the disability rating after having a spinal fusion?
Answers:
Depends on the number of levels involved in the fusion...the more fused the higher the disability rate.
No.
It will depend on your age, physical condition, your dedication on rehab exercises, whether or not you have spinal degeneration disease or not, how many vertebrae are fused and at what location, current and/or future nerve damage, the quality of the surgeon, the surgery outcome, a little luck goes a long way, the attorney you choose, the Doctors your attorney chooses to send you too, what State your in, if it is a workers comp case is it well documented injury and I'm sure I'm missing a few other factors.
I have know three friends that has had spinal fusion. One got a 10% rating, another one got 30% and the other got 60%. That is a huge difference in disability payments.
GOOD LUCK!
