Spinal miningitis question??
When I was way younger... a baby,I had gotten this.. I don't remember which kind, but it had swollen m brain up, could have killed me. If this was the viral kind would it have still swollen my brain? or is that the other kind?
Michelle: There is viral and bacterial. Both are very serious forms of an infection of the meneges (the lining of the spine and brain). Usually it is not the brain itself that swells, but the lining. I have personally had the viral kind 3 times in my 40+ years of life.
While doctors have never formally made the connection, once I firmly had my severe allergies under control I have never had it again. It's been over 10 years since the last time!

my daughter got this to, it scared the crap out of me the fact that me and her mother split up and being in the same room with a half dead daughter was hard to but it wasnt her time and she lived, they got it just in time 5 days on heavy meds and she is now 11 and beautiful good luck
