Should i have a spinal tap done?
okay i've been having lots of headaches and the doctor has done blood tests and even a ct scan for sinus and headache. he said if that comes back nothing he is going to have a spinal tap done. but i have no other symtoms of meningitus anything i could tell the doc to check before i have to go through that?

I hate to say this but I would trust what the doctor has to say before I would take advice from strangers that dont know the case and do not have a medical degree. A spinal tap is not that bad, just make sure you take there advice when they say DO NOT SIT OR STAND for a giving time. The first time I had one I was 16 and would not use the bed pan so when no one was in my room I used the bathroom. The next day my head hurt so bad. It is the worst headache I have ever had.
