Anyone know anything about spinal cord stimulation to alleviate pain?

I have had extensive problems with my back, since an auto accident three years ago.
Are you asking about a tens unit? Different areas have benefited from the tens unit. It hasn't been the cure all. I also had stimulation with physcial therapist and accupuncturist. Hard to answer about the results when I don't know what part of the spine you are asking about. Have you had any MRI's? What part of the back are you having a problem with?
I'm not a doctor, but I sure have seen many for my problems. I would be interested in anything you have learned about back pain, too.
I have a bulging disc at C1, L1,L2.
I have a herniated disc at T5.
