Spinal fusion surgery...?
I am 17 years old, and having a spinal fusion done on the 19th of this month. I want to know if anyone who has had this surgery done has had any complications after the surgery.

im 17 too i had my surgery when i was 15 and i had absolutely no probs.
actually i did have a problem with the morphine afterwards it made me itch sooooooo bad that i asked not to have it.
instead i just took tylonal 3 with codein and i healed much faster. it was uncomfortable but on a scale from 1-10 i would only rate it a 7 at the most. most of the time it was a 5 or 6 tho.
where r u gettin it done? i got mine at shriners and they are soo nice there i healed within a week and then it took a year to get over stiffness. hope this helps!
oh and i was sooo scared about losing my legs but they use nerve sensors to make sure they dont mess up so don't worry so much.
