I have this terrible back pain in the upper and lower back. I have not been able to work out because I don't want to make it worse. I thing I probably have an injury, serious injury, ant I think I might need surgery. I've had it for enough time to start worrying.

What I would do instead is go on one of those upside down machines and stay on there for 30 minutes and that should straighten out your spine. But you do this at your own risk, you see if your spinal colum is out of alignment then it cuts of f the nerves, then you can't move and you have no power. Anyway thats what I use when and if my back goes out of wack. And it seems to do the trick every time. The shopping Channel sells them and they are about 350.00 or just try a gym.
