Fungus in cerebral spinal fluid?what to expect and is their a cure?
Answers:
Absolutely curable. Fungi are opportunistic, meaning they don't really bother us until we have lost some immune function. Whatever has caused the fungus to grow is more important than the fungus because it's not a common infection. Plus, usually we don't get infections in the CSF because we have a "blood-brain barrier" to protect the most critical organs. But if you have a good doctor, one who specializes in infectious disease, he or she will get you on the right regimen. Good luck!
I know some one with that problem and he has been fighting it for over a year now. It appears to be painful and hard to fight. You gotta stay away from anything that has fungus as in pizzas, spaghetti etc.and you need to eat foods that will turn your blood slightly alkaline (there are books on that) that meens NO soda's
