I have a spinal cord injury, why do my feet feel like they are being shocked sometimes?

Answers:
From the spinal cord injury. All the nerves in your legs and feet start out in the spine. Anytime you feel sharp stabbing pains, those are nerves over reacting to something.
It could be as easy as the way you are sitting needs to be changed.
What type of SCI do you have? Complete / Incomplete? What level?

If its below L2-3 then technically its the peripheral nervous system and there can be SOME nerve regeneration (can't guarantee it - but its possible). You might have some sensation remaining if its also an incomplete lesion.

Hope this helps some
