Disc desiccation and bulging at L5-S1. Midline herniation at L4-5 that narrows the nerve root regions bilaterally with compression and disc desiccation. Disc bulging with hyperttrophic ligaments and facets dorsolaterally bilaterally causing caudal sac compression and nerve root narrowing

I have had about the same diagnosis and its tough on a person I have three herniated disc from L2 down to L5, narrowing of the spinal column, one of the disc is pushing on the desending nerve root down my leg causing numbness and partial atrophy of my leg. I was also born with Spina Bifida and teathered cord so my back is a mess. I went to see two different neurosurgeons and was told by both that basically my back looked like crap but theres nothing surgery could do for me. So I just deal with the aches and pains as best I can. Hopefully you can find someone who can help you so you dont have to go thru what I do, cause I know how bad it sucks.
