Is your spinal cord connected to your brain?
In most people there is a connection. In your case, I'm not so sure.
yes they are connected by your cerebral cortex
Your spinal cord goes all the way up your spine and ends inside your cranial cavity, where it ends into what we call the central nervous system.
yes.
ultimately yes
yes. you were sleeping when the teacher discussed it, werent you? ;)
Pretty much at the medulla oblongtata. Here's a side view and good description.
They are connected through the brain stem.
yes.
The answer is yes. The brain and the spinal cord make up the central nervous system. The spinal cord is an extension of the brain stem, which is about the thickness of your thumb, and 3 inches in length. The spinal cord exits the skull through a hole called the foramen magnum.
I would say that many of the nerves from the spinal cord go directly into the brain.
of course it is...it's an extension of your brain...
GEEEWIZ is it.?...that is like asking, is the liteswitch conneted to that light ?..yes the spinal cord is connected to your brain, ever wonder how you move your body.??..think about it ....DAH.
The spinal cord attaches to the Brain Stem. if the spinal cord wasn't attached you would be a Paraplegic or Quadriplegic
Last time I checked it was why?
you'd be dead if it wasn't
