Back/spinal problem. Backbone feels like it's sliding.?
My back has hurt since I was 10 (now 25). For about the past 6 1/2 years, when I lay on my side, it feels like 2 of the bones in my middle back are sliding up and down when I breathe (if I were to be sitting up, they would be going side to side). It is in the area where my bra strap covers. That spot hurts just about every day, no matter if I'm sitting up or laying down. Has anyone else ever had this? I also think I might have a pinched nerve somewhere as my right hand fingers will go numb at times, and also sometimes when I'm driving, my right foot will start to tingle really bad. If you've ever had a similiar experience, please fill me in on what was wrong and how it was diagnosed (xray, MRI, etc.) and how it was treated. Thanks.

I would definitely hit the chiropractor first. They will take X-rays of your back or neck (which seems to be your problem areas) and can show you on the spot if you have any structural problems. Sometimes, major complications can be fixed with just a few adjustments. Make sure you list everything that affects you, so you don't leave anything out when you go and have to explain your problems. The more info they have to go on, the better they can help you. If it is something more serious than an adjustment can fix, they will refer you to someone, and steer you in the right direction. Good luck, and take care!
