Does spinal cord injury cause infertility?

Answers:
it can.
yea i think so
yap, it could.
It can, but not necessarily.
No.
I would say no.
No sure does not, I had punctured my spinal cord, and smashed my spinal column from T9 -L3, it has taken a while to recover but I'm back.
Not that I am aware of, Spinal cord injury primarily is associated with muscular activity as well as brain activity, Sperm production can happen even if you are a quadriplegic.
Not unless blood supply to the reproductive organs is compromised or there is some other complication. Men and women have successfully reproduced after spinal cord injuries. Fertility does have more challenges with such an injury, of course.

There may be decreased or no sensation in the genitals, but this doesn't prevent sex or pregnancy. Some males with SCI (spinal cord injury) may be able to learn to ejaculate and other may require help with special stimulator devices or need to use artificial insemination. Most women with SCI have no problem conceiving but pregnancy may be complicated.

Discovery Health Channel has recently run a program about a woman with quadriplegia who had a child. It is still running and you might be interested in watching it. And there is much discussion about this on disability bulletin boards and forums.
No! It doesn't just as long as ur boys were able to do something before u got injured i say this because my ole boy was boy wit spina bifida and he got 4 children.
i think it would cause erectile disfuction if it is stroke waist down!

not too sure any other spinal injury would but i recommend you to see a doc if anything is wrong with your penis.

Infertility should not be caused as it's your testes which produces sperm. If you can't erect and ejaculate...it's ED and all you need is see a doc and get your sperm taken out to be implanted into your wife's ovari!
