Is there any cure for Spinal Cord Disorders.?

Hi,

My Husband is suffering from spinal cord disorder. The doctors say the fluid between the disks in the spine has exhausted. They have told that even operation will not solve the problem as there is only 10% chance for him to cure. Please tell me if there is any alternative for this.

as yet I don't think so but there is a lot of work being done at present in the field of stem-cells these appear to be promising!!
