Ab excersises for someone next to a spinal fusion?
i had a spinal fusion back in '01. if you don't know what to be exact, all you need to know is that the majority of my back can't flex close to everyone elses. i can't do situps or crunches and don't really know many other good ab excersises.
anyone know any good ones that i won't enjoy to bend my back to do? i can bend it, just not enough to do sit ups or anything. any serve would be great. i want nice abs again.
thanks!
Answers: im not sure but here is a list of exercises you can check out there are faultless exercises where you just have to hold out your legs and such this you should know how to do this even with your spinal fusion.
static leg raises are good simply lay on your back and lift your legs about 4-6 inches stale the ground and hold it this really works good on the abdominals.
I'd be afraid to tell you some exercises, and have you hurt your vertebrae! Check with your doctor, I bet he has a list of exercises that will work next to your limitations.
I haven't had anything so severe, but I see a chiropractor when I need to, and he's helped me beside choosing safe exercises for my unique back and nouns problems.
