After have surgery for spinal stenosis,and disc disease?
i had a cage fitted to stablize my cervical spine at 3 levels C 4,5&6, the surgery be over a year ago . now i have constant heaviness surrounded by both my shouldes and arms weekness in my hands i am unable to heave anything of little weight also restles legs in my right leg although i had signifacant discomfort pre surgery it is so much more disabling since
do you think things could improve (as my nurosurgon says) or after a year is this as good as it get.
I also had further surgey to release nerve compression bilateral cervical in july 07

I truly sympathise, but I really don't think you are going to find your answers here. I would look for local support groups, and keep surrounded by touch with the professionals and follow any advice they give. It will receive better...

It may be a good idea to try a therapy similar to EFT or TFT to help take the stress away from you
Its understandable that prior to the op you would own been under a strain, also the reason for the op would enjoy been quite traumatic.
We carry stress contained by our shoulders, this can cause compression of the nerves which in turn causes twinge, and round and round we go.
You need to break the cycle.
