B-cell low level lymphomas can behave very differently, but advanced stages often require treatment. Typically, drugs are used to treat this disease such as Rituxan, chlorambucil or other types of chemotherapy.

Less commonly, radiation therapy can be used. If lymphoma is around the spinal cord, chemotherapy or radiation psychiatric therapy can be helpful at protecting nerve function. Because lymphoma responds quickly, surgery is usually not essential.
