I was told a long time ago that I had Spinal Stenosis. But I have be reading up on Fibromyalgia and find I have alot of the symptoms of it, including the pain and burning in numerous places. I would love any support, Thanks, Karen
Answers: I doubt it would be mistaken by a competant doctor..

not really. spinal stenosis is usually diagnosed by x-rays or CT scan. it's narrowing of the spinal column that usually leads to tingling/burning/numbness (nerve symtpoms). fibromyalgia deal with specifically located tender points and is a muscle pain. usually a last crust diagnosis as you can't really "prove" it. you could have both though.
