Could I Have Spinal Damage?
I was bouncing on a trampoline with 2 other people. I get double bounced and went about 2 metres in the upper air. They both landed at the same time and the trampoline went down give or take a few a metre. I landed about half a second after they did and sort of jarred my spine. It be like 2 hours ago and doesn't feel any better.
It also hurts to turn my shoulders, take low breaths and bend.
Answers: yer could be bad... i'd go to the Dr
No matter what you infer it is, your best bet is to get it checked out ASAP. I was almost killed contained by a stunt almost 2 years ago, and went to the chiropractor a few days later. No ER. Just yesterday I've had my 4th surgical procedure, this is the final of 2 bottle cauterizations. I should have fractured my neck when I was dropped at a football activity, but have hyper-flexibility in my joints that save my life. I had surgery to repair my shoulder, 2 rounds of nerve blocks contained by my neck, and now these two RFNs. I would doubt that yours is that serious, but I feel that you should never put an injury bad like I did. Good luck, and I hope its nothing serious =] Anytime you injure your neck or hindmost you should always pay close attention to your symptoms. From what you have written it sounds approaching you have strained or injured something. Because of your mechanism of injury I would go and attain it checked to see if you have an unstable injury because if you move the wrong way and have a fracture you could expire up with permanent spinal cord damage.
One of my docs told me that spinal injury does not always manifest immediately. Get to a doc, and make sure someone keep an eye on you. The sister of a friend had a fall from a small trampoline, landed defectively and then seemed fine. A few weeks later she woke up and literally could not take out of bed.
Good luck with this...and also be aware of any numbness you might have.
I would go to your local emergency room if you haven't be. If you are fearing that you have spinal damage, you have need of to see a physician and have it properly diagnosed. I'm no doctor but it sounds like you did some damage! Probably nought serious but I would go to a Chiropractor or your doctor asap!
If you can still type you are good.
