Crushed 12th vertebrae that's pressing on spinal cord, and borken humorous bone? What do I do?
On 12/5/07 my mother broke her humorous bone in arm. and Hurt back. They said arm would heal, etc, etc,...The stern we just found out after three different dr's doing xrays, then a bone scan, siting up mri(cause can't lay on back) finally found that she crushed her t-12 vertebrae in her spine and it's floating around contained by pieces and some parts pushing on her spinal cord. We seen one back surgen that sent us to another who requested a ctscan but won't put her iv in the arm sedation to bring back her to lay on her back, he referred us to another arm dr to do surgery, and we are back at the start again. have to own arm surgery before the back surgen will so surgery. During all this my mother have fell three more times, looses balance in legs and now have a very swollen hard stomach. We are getting the run around, what do we do. My mother is 63.
this is ridiculous,,,where do you live?you should nick her to a hospital or doctor to get it sorted,,,cant advise any more as health systems are different contained by different parts of the world,,,i would say you are not in the uk?we have a wonky system but not THAT bleak yes where are you your drs are on crack you need to demand she recieves treatment?
