Did I fracture or sprain my hip, or is it a spinal compression fracture?
I was in a close call on my motorcycle, and used my leg to pivot my bike to avoid a sports car. For a week I had minor pain in my leg. I feel great for a couple of months, but in the last week, I have have severe pain sitting, and getting up from the seated possition. The pain starts at my hip and shoots towards my foot on the outside of my leg. I have full span of motion after getting up and moving.

That could be a variety of things, what you hold listed as well as herniating a disk& what the first answerer said , Your best bet would be to get your self checked, If it is any of those things it will not acquire better only worse. Hope you find it isn't too serious, but I would go see your Dr. & or go to the Hospital. Just to be completely sure of what it is. ask the orthopedist to reread the xray and tell you again!!
