Do spinal complications rationale your eyesight to wrosen?
One year, i was in a car crash and suffered from wiplash (a sprained neck). I also recieved eyeglasses that same year after the misfortune. Are the two phenomenons related? If so, what should i do? My eyesight seems to get worse every year and i get these headache that cant be cured by pain releavers. my doc said to drink more water, but that doesnt seem to do much. Recently, the deterioration have slowed down. However, when i heard the same story from a friend who's sister had spinal troubles, i become intregued. my friend's sis also had headaches that were cured by have a spinal surgery. i was wondering if you could recieve headaches and eyesight troubles from spinal complications.
Although you have have an accident M/S has these symptoms and yes the eyes deteriorate. Another thing are migranes that basis vision loss or paralysis and I have this, I get headache at the back of the neck and cannot see very okay so I take ibuprofen which is a anti inflamatory to stop swelling and my eyes clear up then I do eye exercises every day looking within all directions to strengthen the muscles. Teabags are great. I am sure they can to some extent. I know migraines of certain types can affect vision for constant periods of time. Extra accumulation of cerebral spinal fluid any during fetal development or after trauma can affect vision. Also a condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation where on earth part of the tonsil of the brain is compressed in the vertabre can potentially cause increased optical problems.
It depends on the severity of the injury or defect. Finding a good and trust worthy doctor is very high-status when you are facing something of this nature that can affect your vision or other functions of your body.
A neurologist and ophthalmologist would be the specialist to really consult with for further curious.
There could be a possibility that you have a pinched nerve that is affecting your eyesight, but I don't have a sneaking suspicion that those two can be linked. More than likely two totally different things.
