Does any body know something like spinal tap?
I had a spinal tap done a week ago tues i was have headaches so they did the blood patch on sat but still really weak within my legs and no energy. been on bedrest since. pls help
Answers: I have a spinal tap a few years ago-- I wasn't 'back to normal' for a good month! I missed a few weeks of work because of the pain, the awful headache and the dizziness. You should look into whether it's PLPH (post lumbar puncture headache). My doctors NEGLECTED to tell me the possible side effects of having a spinal tap, and my husband did rather research on his own and found out about PLPH. Not sure if this helps you or not, but if it makes you discern better-- you WILL feel normal again. Maybe not right away, but you will get at hand. If you want to chat, feel free to email me!
