Endotracheal Tube VS Spinal Anaesthesia?
I went in friday and was suppose to enjoy surgery but, had bad expierence last operation beside tube in my throat. I have a high gag reflex and pulled tube out during surgery or attempted. Is within any concerns if I just the Dr just put tube in and hope for the best or is near danger involed.
Or should I go for Spinal Anaesthesia and hope I dont feel a entity while they are operating on my knee
You can have your knee surgery near spinal anaesthesia. There is no need of general anaesthesia unless spinal anaesthesia is contradicted.Ask your doctor if any contraindications are there or not &tolerate him decide what is better for you as he knows much better about gag reflex and anaeshtesia than you do. You won't grain anything with the spinal. That's how I had my knee surgery. I be fine.
