Has anyone tried spinal decompression,(not a surgical proceedure).?

This is done in a chiropractors office.

Answers:    My husband did. He has Degenerative Disc Disease. This procedure in reality made him worse as it caused some discs to herniate and caused fluid leakage from the spinal cord. Messed him up pretty impossible although the disease would've eventually caused the same outcome. Surgery is now completely out of the put somebody through the mill.

Add** If you can, try to see a good Neurologist or Orthopedist for suggestions on alternative therapies. One thing they did recommend be hydrotherapy, physical & massage therapy. Many Dr.'s will often charge a lower rate for those w/out ins. Also, hospitals usually enjoy programs for uninsured patients that will pay for some or all of tests/services (MRI's, CT scans, bloodwork, etc...) for those who financially qualify. Check them out if you haven't done so.
BTW... The rub therapist that treated my hubby... Is the one who brought me into the Truth :) Take care Sister
