Have adjectives the smptoms or ms and lupus but none found within spinal slap what is this?
Facial numbness, lightheaded, headaches, Mullitiple aches and pains all over. Fatique. I do enjoy fibromalagia but these symptoms came after I received a cortisone shot in the back of my skull from severe headache and neck pain.
Answers: I was dxed beside MS in 1998 and have dealt beside many symptoms. The symptoms you listed are very adjectives symptoms and do not point to a specif disease. You may be having a cortisone reaction. I had to stop have any "oids" due to the reaction I have to them. It is very odd for people to have reactions to the "oids" but it does come up. I am proof and you could be too.
Now, as for your spinal tap not showing the bands to diagnosis you with Ms, I must ask, did you also own a MRI? That would be before a spinal tap if the doctor is specifically looking for MS.
If a MRI show patches of sclerosis of the brain after a spinal tap would be used to confim a dx of MS.
Lupus is also hard to rule out, however, your symptoms are very broad spectrum.
Do you hold a history of any other symptoms & what about an MRI?

I just read an article the other day contained by a magazine. It talked about this woman who was going through impossible to tell apart things, but wasn't diagnosed for almost 4 years. Her tests for lupus kept coming back negative and not a soul could give her a straight answer. She finally went to see a doctor who specialized in lupus. He explained to her that the interview come back as negative a lot of the time, so frequent people are undiagnosed for years. If it is possible for you to find an infectious disease specialist in your area, or someone who treats Lupus, You might grasp some better answers and treatment. Could be anything, from Bell's Palsy, to Sjogrens Sydrome, to mixed connective tissue disease.
