How come my spinal hurt so doomed to failure?
I had an epidural the first time and felt nothing-very pleasant experience. I had a spinal the second time and it hurt REALLY doomed to failure! It felt like I was mortal stuck over and over and over-It was awful and is the reason I haven't had the third and fourth children I other wanted. Wish I had one of you guys' anesthesiologists!
Answers: Was the feeling of individual stuck over and over again while they were trying to put the epidural in?
If so you had a really shoddy anaesthetist. Some could not hit a dart board. Trust me on that one.
If it be when the epidural was working it may have been contained by the wrong place for your pain control. Sometimes if it's jsut not in the right place it causes more headache and anguish than help.
Other times an epidural has no real effect on a woman. they still get the impression pain and get no relief. BUT this is not adjectives. It may not happen at all next time.
Please, I know that one discouraging experience with an epidural during childbirth, is enough to scare you past its sell-by date childbirth and epidurals forever, but things can be done to help if you decide to have another child.
Let the Nursing staff know of your concerns and they can bestow you alternatives, even with an alternative epidural block if need be, to help wellbeing your pain.
It's your birth. You have the right to be as pain free and as comfortable as they can trade name you.
Have gas next time say No to the other as it can be dangerous the doctor may enjoy to do a blood patching, when you have a epidural,sometimes it does clot up and spinal fluid leaks, causing this problem, so you entail to go back, the nurse will draw some blood, and the doctor will inject your blood into the spinal to clot up.
