How long after a 2 smooth spinal fusion does it pocket to know how to drive or to return to work?
-
It will take you a few months. First you'll have to be on a dosage of pain medication that is to say safe to drive on and then feel safe and sound enough to want to drive..
- Spinal stroke.?
- Spinal Cervical Stenosis?
- Spinal decompression: citizens who hold done it
- The spinal cord?
- First diagnosis be acute spinal injury?
You'll be in a brace for at least 6 weeks. I be in one for 6 months
If they fused your cervical spine make sure you ask for a Alpine brace. It will make your energy a lot better
I've had 2 cervical spine operations over the finishing 8 years and am permanently disabled. But I had severe nerve impairment and I am still in a pain management program.
I don't drive because of the amount of medication I still whip. I was injured by a drunk driver and I don't ever want to take the chance that I may hurt someone because of the medication. It's a choice I made, not the DMV
I hold met a lot of folks at the spine clinic I use to go to at UCSD that have recovered and be back to living a full life in only a few months. It all depends on what kind of damage you have and how well you respond to PT.
