Husband have fruitless spinal pressure/burning anguish when sitting but not when standing?

He can walk for hours upon hours and there is no pain whatsoever.

However, once, for example, when sitting down, the throbbing went from upper spine to lower spine instantly (but didn't "shoot down", as he describes it).

He is 38-years-old. Normal weight. Has been diagnosed near slight kyphosis and curvature of the spine. His shoulders are also rounded as well. He has a seizure disorder and have fallen at least three or four times since 1999. He is on Dilantin and Zonegran.

This spinal pain have been happening now for a few weeks. Also, he have lightheadedness associated with this pain.

Is there anything that can be done going on for this? Any idea of what this might be? Icy Hot patches and muscle relaxers provide temporary nouns, but that's just it.

Answers:    its a spinal pinched nerve- probably from the curvature in his spine. He needs a cortisone injection. Th dilantin can explanation slight dizzy spells, but it is important that he continue using that medication.the dizzy spells can also come from the pinched nerve, which would effect his brain as powerfully which is why it is very important if he has any tremor disorder he continue this medicine to control the seizures. The aching changes from sitting to standing because the pressure on the nerve is released or pinched more during shifting his spine.
a jacuzzi would be a wonderful way to nouns the pain temporarily or a deep and comfortable hot bath. The cheek can eventually move on its own, but if it becomes worse, he should see a doctor(bring him to the ER) and probably they will give a cortisone injection.
I approaching Ameena's reply.

He might also have the spinal cord being pinched by a narrowing channel within the vertebrae. I'm not a doctor, but I'm guessing that one may prescribe anti-inflamitories. Surgery to open the channel may be needed.

See a spine specialist for a proper diagnosis, though. If you don't have one, see your domestic doctor and get a referral.
