I am going to enjoy surgery on my knees.The dr said I could hold a spinal block is this a honest model? ?

The recovery And physical therapy are going to be painful and afterwards you will wish you could block out the pain. once you finish physical therapy you will be far better past its sell-by date than you are now.
yes , i would say much better than having to enjoy a general anaesthetic. you will feel better quicker than waking up adjectives sick and groggy. you sholuldn't feel any pain during the op and they will give you aching relief for after. there are always some risks involved next to any surgery but they are very small and the anaesthetist/drs have to explain all this to you until that time you go ahead. i too am awaiting a knee op, and i will be choosing a spinal block. I would never be awake during surgery! (I've had 2 knees surgeries and one next week). If you do have to be awake, a spinal block in necessarily your only option. You can also have a knees block done and that will help keep your knee almost discomfort free for about 24 hours.
If you don't have to be awake; I would definitely obtain put to sleep !
