I only just have spinal fusion surgery?

im 16 years old and what are some good benefits after the surgery. any exercises also theres some pain on my departed foot like when i touch it it stings very bad. the doctor think this is a good sign i dont know when it will heal

Answers:    Nerves take a greatly long time to heal completely. Even slight nerve damage can bear 6 months or longer to heal. I had some minor nerve impairment in one of my hands and it took over a year to heal completely.
POOR GIRL! my hubby have this done Jan. 31. that is a hard surgery on someone so young. he is presently doing better and we have high hopes that he will do great later on. walking is angelic, but start with short walks and slowly increase so not to do any damage. he also have pain in one leg. doc. says it is also devout. takes 6 months to heal completely. best luck to you dear. :) Every one heals at their own rate when it comes to nerves. Have your doctor dispatch you for physical therapy when you are ready. It is the swelling around the nerves that is cause the stinging feeling.
