I have a spinal thump and my rear hurts?
I had a spinal tap or lumbar puncture yesterday and my back hurts really impossible today. Surprisingly enough its my upper back that hurts the worst. I there anything I could do or any charitable of medicine I could take to relieve the pain?
Also does anyone know how long this will concluding?
Answers: It'll take at least a few days to quit hurting. In the mean time, try taking some Motrin or Aleve. Mine took over a week to quit hurting, but I have to go in for another procedure (a blood patch) because mine was leak (so I had 2 needles in the same spot, but the 2nd one be bigger).
I don't know if it is okay with your Dr. ( i don't see why not) But take Ibuprofen.
It is a pain reliever and help with swelling.
