I won't go into too many details because I don't want to panic you unnecessarily, but my husband went to the doctor for neck pain and it turned out to be a tumor within his spinal cord. He came through it well, but it was a long-winded process. If he hadn't gone in, he would have allowed the tumor to grow inside his spinal cord. A tumor in the spinal cord is fundamentally rare, and I believe the pain wouldn't be in your lower wager on, but it's just a reminder that pain is our body's way of unfolding us something is not quite right, and it's better to be safe than sorry. You need someone to drive you to the emergency room without beating about the bush. Only an xray can show if it's something serious or minor. Don't take needless chances!
