If someone have a spinal chord injury.Is nearby a possibility that surgery will return with them up and walking again?
My 13yr old sister Was recently shot in her backbone the bullet broke her spinal chord bone.

To answer your question ... it depends on wether in that was trauma to the cord itslelf. If the cord is Ok and she just broke her back bone (vertebrae) she should be capable of walk no problem ... with alot of help from the physiotherapists and nurses.
If the cord have been compressed, the cord is bruised or the cord was cut in two ... she will own problems. If the cord was compressed or bruised there is a chance she will way of walking but only time will tell. If the cord was cut contained by two there is very litttle chance she will step.
