Yes you would. you'd be paralyzed below the sever. but as the doc said. you wouldn't know much of anything It all depends where the break in the spinal cord is. most breaks that accur surrounded by the thoracic area affect the control of the bladder and you would need to wear nappies. but you would be aware of the problem but would have no control over the problem
