If you found out that you have a cyst within your spinal cord how freaked out would you be?
How would you fell, or what would you do if:
Hypothetically, if you were to be diagnosed as having a "large" benign fluid filled "cyst" inside your spinal cord. This "mass" spans the length of 6 vertebrae. It is due to a trauma that you are sure of (so no genetic mutations or anything). This "cyst" can grow at any range of speeds, yours speed not yet determined, its growth is almost other vertical. The only treatment other than pain killer ( and crossing your fingers)for life, is a surgical procedure with a 50% success rate. To be clear, it is presumed that you should settle to your doctor.
If it were you, how would you respond to this diagnosis?
Answers: i would be so freaked out I would be screamin and cryin' and if u do i will pray for u
Of course people would be very worried for themseIves or asomeone they know I am not sure what kind of response you want ,,it seems strange., I would scream and cry! I would cuss my doctor. I would slap my mother and see my dad. I would take to my bed and never get out of it again. I would profane God's name and pray to the devil! But, to be exact just me, I do that when I break a nail!
I would just give somebody a lift my oxy's on time and then some. Then I wouldn't have to devise about it at all Very!
I'd take a few moments to freak out within private, then get to work with the doctors. I'd capture a second opinion and then i would say what hazard is there based on the location and decide to obtain ride of it asap thankfully it's not a harmful tumor.
They say it will contained by time ruin your sleep from the pressure this is what i have heard.
i would be traumatized and sure as hell wouldn't be able to ask on yahoo how anybody would be sentiment, and how could you ask that question hypothetically ? Pretty. I wouldn't be too concerned since it's benign. I'd follow my MD's recommendations.
oh babe dont worry honest, its adjectives and can be sorted okay? my little sis has many cysts on her spinal chord and a tumour she just recovered from her 30th surgery and she cant put your foot when i got older and understood i be really freaked out. its really up to the person. if you feel that a 50% success rate is adequate then go for it. also talking roughly it with family reely helps trust me.
REALLY FREAKED OUT! My spine injuries be due to a violent crime. The surgery is scary..but, it's worth it. I've had 3 spine surgeries. 2 on the c-spine and any more on thec-and thoratic spine junction.
I can walk..I'm getting stronger...but, my cord was completely compressed the first surgery, have I fallen just once b-4 surgery I'd of been paralyzed d¨Ścolletage down. So, bluntly, I who ask how soon can we do it?
ive had 2 that were nothing but i would verbs.. how long can you wait to be safe? i would be, on a scale of one to ten, nearly a 9. and one is nervous. ten is really freaked.
I can relate. I found out after a car accident that I enjoy cysts on my kidneys. Cysts are creepy, especially when they're big or in an important place (more so if both apply). However, benign is benign.
If it hurts a lot, it's big satisfactory that it can be removed or possibly drained. Can you get it drained? That's a lot less intrusive than removing it. Is it a ganglion cyst? If so, I'd probably go and get it drained or removed, given its size and location. Find a specialist to minimize the chances of recurrence.
I would try and get the best surgeon, I could afford and enjoy it removed. I be scared! I gotta remove that before it gets worse!
i'd be traumatized
