Is within anyone here who have a spinal cord stimulator drive in?
I have a medtronic spinal cord stimulator implant that was put contained by 2003. I am having issues with it covering the pain that I am have. My pain specialist is wanting to put me on pain meds until it can have a revision done to it. My interview is this...First has it ever been able to completely block your backache? And my second question is did it help for a period of time and afterwards stop covering the pain? What have you chosen to do about it? Can you present me any suggestions.
Answers: I have never used a spinal cord stimulator but I have friends in chronic stomach-ache that have. Some of them have had awfully good results with it as far as blocking the pain. Some of them own had issues with the pain not getting as moral of control because of the leads moving and then having to enjoy them moved back.
Another girl I know had tried a stimulator and found that it didn't much help her so she want a brand of pain pump that seems to be helping a lot.
