Is it desperate, if harden of the arteries is found within a spinal xray?

last week i had xrays taken for chiropractic adjustmensts and it showed up there..i believe he said it be the abdominal aorta (sp) and to let my regular doctor know soon.cant go yet but would similar to to know just how serious this is.I am 52 yrs old now.

Answers:    You may look up Arteriosclerosis but I muse the x-rays were misread slightly, with good intentions. Perhaps it be a clue about possible cholestorol, but nothing worse. Much of it can be reversed by lifestyle alteration, if doable, with your sore rear legs? Diet can be changed to your benefit, nearly always.
this is very serious, it can cause parilization save corrected.i had the same problem years ago and by chiropractic adjustmensts it was corrected for going through corrective perfectionism but now i have double scolioices and the pain comes and go...i went in for spinal exays and a mri and found hardened arteries which all head to the spinal cord... so as to what i am saying get a second opinion and receive a scan and mri done asasp.. almost everyone over 45 has some minor hardening of the arteries. if its more severe your m.d. (or d.o.) will let you know, but chiropractors really cant influence whether or not you have an actual medical problem like this (they just are not cultured in the field, so he shouldnt have told you what he thought it could be- but thats lately my personal opinion). i wouldnt worry; it may be a misread x-ray by someone who isnt knowledgable in cardiology. best of luck!
A fairly adjectives finding in people over 50. Let him know when you see him, but no urgency.
