Is it possible for a newborn to be diagnosed near Spinal Muscular Atrophy?
Is it possible for a newborn to be diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy if there was never any own flesh and blood history of SMA? The parents do not even carry recessive genes of SMA.
I've researched SMA and I've read that it can only be inherited.
Answers: Usually nobody contained by the family even knows that they carry the gene. The style the check is through a blood test and what they are checking for is if the child is missing the Survival Motor Neuron. My precious baby boy had Spinal Muscular Atrophy and I can inform you we had no family histroy of it either. If somebody you know have it or you think might have it I promise I'll keep them within our prayers. God Bless
hun...keep in mind..noone knows adjectives about health. This maybe one of those..non adjectives things. We can figure out where my sons and my cousins birth marks come from. they are indentical surrounded by the same place..everything..and are said to be herditary but..noone else has them.
