Scoliosis, Spinal curve!!?
f you have scoliosos are you registered disabled?? Even if it mild?
Answers: No. It's not a disability- if it's mild it can be corrected with excersise, if extreme you can have the metal rod inserted contained by your spine. You won't be able to bend but you can still do ordinary stuff.
Lemme guess, you had a arts school mandatory scoliosis test, and they flipped out because your shoulders were crooked.
My shoulders are -uneven-, but I do not have -scoliosis-. We have a "mandatory" school scoliosis test back within 6th grade, and the nurses practically defecated when they tested my spine. I, a 6th grader, had to calmly reassure them that I did not enjoy scoliosis, and that one leg was shorter than the other, and that my spine slanted (straightly!) to one side, which was -not- what scoliosis was.
*stunned looks of amazement and disbelief from institution nurses and administrators at the words which emanated from my 6th grade mouth!*
It would really depend oh how it affects your each day life, especially in the lobg term.
You could try for Disability Living Allowance, you would probably enjoy to be seen by a Doctor befor a decision is made, give it a walk if you are having problems, especailly with Severe Discomfort.the phrase used instead of pain, if it applies. Well, I've get a very mild case (was discovered about 20 years ago) and I'm not registered disabled...
I do own it but wasn't classified disabled ,before I had more spinal problems, I doubt if its a disability till you cant sit or stand to long
