Severe Spinal Stenosis?

Has anyone dealt with it? My husband has it fruitless but surgery is risky because he's a long time diabetic. I've been up for the last 3 hrs with him surrounded by severe pain, hollering, writhing in agony, pleading for it to stop. He's taken enough meds to slaughter horse and it isn't touching it. Anyone had the surgery and been successful? I'm about to loose it - I can't pedal hearing this so I can only imagine what he's going through. It's horrible. I wouldn't decision this on anyone.

Answers:    I've worked with patients that have had laminectomies. There be post-op pain like any surgery. But their report was that it flay the hell outta what they had BEFORE the surgery. Sounds like it's time, IMO. Meds can only travel so far. Hope all goes well.
