Small bump at podium of spine leak spinal fluid?
Within the past month or so, I have just just now noticed a small bump(about the size of half of a grape) at the base of my spine. At first I didn't focus much of it, but now almost everytime i lay down or sit on that spot, a yellow-ish liquid comes out. I was wondering if anyone could clear this up and/or suggest what to do roughly speaking it.
If it was spinal fluid you would have an excruciating headache.Like the other posters said it is probably a boil.Look it up on WebMD. GO TO THE ER NOW!
It's probably a boil (which is nothing serious), but you should win it checked out. that's disgusting
go to the dr. these ppl on y.a. are not professionals. I would guess (sight unseen) that it is a cyst or a boil, just a big pimple that you are squeezing the pus out of when you sit down.
You can get that removed confidently by a doctor who gets paid to look at stuff like that - we don't so no posting of a picture please.
This could be an abscess. You involve to see a Dr. as soon as you can. You will probably need antibiotics.With the prevalence of MRSA the drainage needs to be cultured. In the mean time hold on to the area clean and dry and keep it covered next to a bandage. GO TO THE DOCTOR
Spinal fluid is clear. As the other guy said, it's probably just a boil, and the yellowish stuff is probably pus. I'd suggest getting it checked out anyways, just to be on the not detrimental side. You should get it checked out, my 3 yr.old had one on her leg and I did embezzle her to the doctor and she told me to take her to the emergancy room when it bust well in the meantime I give her really warm baths and she would soak (play) finally it busted.So I did what doc said and you know what he told me ,that he didn't want to take samples I be so relieved that I wasn't going to have to put her through that. But , he said as long as it drains and doesn't close back up that she would be fine. To keep it covered next to neosporiene at night and make sure it keepd draining.
