Spinal block whats the pros and cons of it?
have alot of pain been to heaps dr cant find problem ,the dr said i have nerve damage
I'm confused. You said the doctor can't find a problem, but he ALSO say you have nerve damage? That's description of a contradiction there...
Spinal blocks *can* be effective, but it depends on what you have and the experience of the doctor performing the spinal block. I've have horrible experiences with spinal blocks, personally. If what you have is cheek pain, have you been on Neurontin (aka gabapentin)? It can minister to quite a bit. Have you ever had shingles, and still have twinge in that area? Post-herpetic neuralgia would be the name to put to that, and Neurontin can be agreeable with that.
Are you familiar with Chronic Myofascial Pain (CMP)? I'll move a link for you to take a look, and read, and see if it sounds like it might be what you're experiencing? I be diagnosed with it over ten years ago, when it was still "only" a syndrome and not a "disease." (It's been categorized as a "disease" very soon.) Actually, I'll leave a link to one of the BEST doctors in the States for treating CMP and other backache conditions. And a link to his book!
;-)
I do hope this helps! All my best to you...
