Spinal Cord implantation gone wrong?

My wife went thru a trial having three leads to a spinal cord stimulator implanted. She have been in pain from daylight one of this operation. She has never had back aching before this operation and now she has 24 hour a afternoon back pain. It has be 6 months. The doctor says he did nothing wrong and can't figure out what it could possibly be. Any nurture back to this problem would great.

Answers:    Definantly get a second opinion, turn to another doctor. For the meantime, find something that makes the pain less prominent.
One of my contacts and friends on here are going surrounded by for that very same op today, she had the trial with no problems and have now gone in for the full thing, i reckon they enjoy caught a nerve block, this also happened to another 2 friends in different cases, 1 friend have an obstruction in the urinary tract removed and they cut a nerve block, result be total pain and lotsa pills, my 2nd friend had an op on his temple and yep! again he has ghastly daily headaches now, my mum also enquire about surgery on her back for arthritis and was refuse as they said there were too many brass neck blocks.

Overall that stimulator op is highly successful but i think your wife has have severe bad luck during the surgery, it needs referring back to the surgeon.
ego go to a different doctor than tell the one you where seeing you are seeing a advocate c if he jumps there is something wrong with her by the sounds of things and i dont have a sneaking suspicion that she will want to go throught it for the rest of her life spook the doctor no it will work Get another doctor
Well, first off the doctor would vote this - to try and stop or prevent any insurance claim or medical complaint.

Secondly, any procedure like this carries risk - upon entry, they could hit nerves and cause pull.

My bet is, you weren't advised of this.

I too, had the opportunity to have a medical procedure carried out on my d¨Ścolletage after a car accident - the consultant told me all just about it and how good it was - NOT ONCE, did he mention the risk. I found this out by research and after talking to my G.P. - the risk outweighed the possible solution.
Sue him, or the local robustness authority.
